Are resolutions necessary? I mean, is it important to welcome New Year with a whole new list of resolutions. In my experience, resolutions doesn’t do much good to me. As a matter of fact, I will go all the way out to defy the resolutions that I had made unconsciously (that will explain 2007, I guess). Hence, I hereby claim that as for 2008, I won’t make any kind of resolutions. Let me surprise myself (be it a pleasant or unpleasant surprise). Heh

With 2007 drawing close, I can’t help but to think about all those stuffs that I had went through this eventful year. I won’t bitch about this year anymore cos I think it’s pretty unfair. After all, there isn’t anybody else to blame for these many shortcomings that had happened this year, except for yours truly. If there’s anything that I can wish for 2008 is for me to learn from the past mistakes and make myself a whole better person. I hope this won’t be my famous last words certainly. Whether all this can be made possible in the realms of the possibility, well, only time can tell. Let’s just hope for the best.

I don’t mind that my social circle is getting smaller. I don’t mind that I’m losing friends and I'm not making new friends at the same time either. I just don’t want to lose those few dear friends that still mean A LOT to me, namely my fifanidarain (although I’m seeing less of fifi). Sometimes I can’t help but to think what is my significance in that group but at the end of the day, I’m just being silly by having those thoughts in minds. Yesterday, I happened to came across a video that saidah had sent me a few weeks ago. It was a very short but meaningful video of us giving yannie her 16th birthday present. We had short hair and we were all wearing headbands and yannie was weeping (happily) when we gave her our present. She was crying for the 2nd time that day. The first time she cried because she had thought that we had forgotten about her birthday and we(being the mean girls that we were) didn’t even bother to wish her birthday the first thing we saw her in the morning. We had apparently staged the whole thing just to give her a tease. Heh. Those secondary school days certainly give me something to smile about over and over these days.

It was just the other day (I think it was on the Wednesday) when ifa, kid and me sat behind causeway point and had a good reminiscent about the secondary school days. I do know some people who hate to think about those days. In fact, they are ashamed. Personally, I think these are the people who don’t make full use of their in secondary school. There were so many things that you can do there and certainly, there are so many growing up that one can go through. If I have to handpick a favourite memory during secondary school days, ermmmm…… that will be utterly not possible. There are too much story that could be told. I certainly miss that days, don’t you?
